Vbrick, the leader in enterprise video platform solutions, today announced innovations and enhancements to how video can be sourced and distributed with the May 2020 Rev Platform release. Rev’s webcasting capabilities have been enhanced to include multicast distribution for video conferencing and enhanced ad hoc webcasting with Cisco Webex. Additionally, users are now able to expand the global reach of their recorded videos with automatic closed caption translation to 21 languages martech news.
Enterprises are leveraging unified communication and collaboration solutions to manage, conduct and record meetings and to improve how teams and individuals connect and perform. As video becomes a greater part of the communications tool set, companies are realizing that video conferencing solutions are not suited for large audience events or effective video content management. Vbrick has recognized this need and continues to innovate in connecting these solutions to Rev enabling one to many live streaming and on-demand video communications from end to end including streaming, recording, transcribing, sharing, searching, and securely and efficiently managing video content.
The Rev Cloud May release builds on existing strengths integrating with video conferencing solutions to extend their reach and use video to conduct large audience events. Webex Meeting Hosts can now quickly create and start ad hoc Rev webcast events directly from within their Webex Meeting application. With this new version of the Rev Platform, enterprises can also automatically leverage multicast for distribution for their Webex, Zoom Meeting, 3rd Party HLS or Video Conference endpoint sourced Webcast Events.
The May Release also continues Vbrick’s investment and innovation using artificial intelligence to surface the value trapped in video and to expand the reach of Rev to a company’s global workforce. Now users can translate video on demand subtitles into multiple languages using the Rev IQ Video AI module. The capability works seamlessly with Rev’s transcription so that users can specify multiple languages and have videos transcribed and translated in one simple workflow.
“Our mission is to enable our customers to use video to engage, empower and transform their organizations. Reaching every employee is key to achieving transformation for an organization. I’m excited that our latest release continues to push the envelope for our customers to ensure they can truly reach every employee and make the most relevant video content available to those global employees in their preferred languages,” said Olivier Meyer, VP of Product, Vbrick Systems, Inc.
