Wireside

Wireside Communications®, an award-winning independent strategic communications, marketing and public relations agency focused on the consumer and B2B tech sectors, has seen a strong first three quarters in 2023, reaching several milestones. The firm focused on agency growth this year, adding several new clients and team members, while continuing to deliver industry-leading results across the board. Among Wireside’s new hires was Stephanie Styons, whom the agency appointed as executive vice president to help lead strategy and agency growth.

Agency Growth
“Our focus has been on expanding our business in areas we have an expertise in, and a passion for, such as silicon, mobile, networking, security and big data,” said Wireside Partner RJ Bardsley.

Wireside works with several marquee tech brands, including The Association for Computing Machinery and NTT. Throughout 2023, Wireside has continued to expand its client roster with several exciting technology brands, including Axelera AI, Ethernovia, Qwiet AI and Sygnia.

“We are proud to be an international, independent firm delivering industry-leading expertise and award-winning results,” added Wireside Partner and Founder Joya Subudhi. “We are focused on strategic growth that ensures we continue to deliver the best results to our clients as we grow.”

An Expanding Team of Talent
Earlier this year, Wireside announced several new hires to support its expanding portfolio of technology clients. As the firm has grown, it has continued to add new talent to the team. In July, industry veteran Stephanie Styons joined Wireside as executive vice president. She will work side-by-side with the partners to shape the agency as it continues to grow. Styons brings with her more than three decades of experience managing global teams for established tech brands and innovative startups.

“Talent and culture are critical to successfully building an agency, and the people on the Wireside team are some of the best in the industry,” said Styons. “The agency is strong and growing, and the team is smart, strategic and committed to client service. I am energized by the journey ahead and thrilled to be a part of the team.”

Over the past several months, Wireside has added new employees in addition to Styons. New team members include Lauren Fischer, account manager; Denery Noone, senior account executive; Paige Comish, account executive; Mallory Knabel, program coordinator; and Ramona Johnson as finance associate. The company has also made several promotions lately, including the promotion of Nick Gibiser to the role of account director and the promotion of Hannah Costello to the role of assistant account executive.

The Importance of Awards
In July, Wireside was recognized for the Best Technology and Software Campaign (Bronze) by Bulldog Reporter for the firm’s Private 5G Campaign, led by Wireside Vice President Andrea MacLean, on behalf of marquee client NTT. The Bulldog Reporter recognizes remarkable PR and communications campaigns and impressive individual and agency contributions to the PR industry from the previous year. The Bulldog Awards are the only PR awards program judged exclusively by journalists, offering a unique and industry-specific evaluation process. The judges assessed the agencies and practitioners on the basis of their industry leadership, business acumen, communications, creativity, command of media and technology, and credit to PR and corporate communications.
