Stova, a leading event management technology platform, today announced the appointment of two members to its board of directors, David Murphy and John Pulling. In addition to serving on the board, David was also appointed to the role of Executive Chairman. Coming from renowned technology organizations, David and John bring decades of experience and leadership to Stova’s mission to elevate the event technology landscape.
David Murphy is one of Silicon Valley’s most highly regarded business executives with over 30 years of experience in senior leadership and board roles driving market adoption, disruptive growth and billions of dollars of value creation. David has spent the last several years in private equity as an operating partner, often as Executive Chairman, with several sponsors including Thoma Bravo, TPG, Garnett Helfrich and most recently Sunstone Partners. Over his career as an operating executive, David was instrumental in building Conga, Qlik Tech, Blue Coat, Mercury Interactive and Tivoli Systems into market leaders.
John Pulling has over 35 years of leadership in enterprise software with deep experience in the event technology space as the former CTO of Lanyon where he oversaw the creation of an integrated product strategy, launched development centers of excellence and played a key role in the company’s merger with Cvent. He also held senior leadership roles in CentralSquare, Big Machines, Infor, and Provia.
