Sparkfly, an award-winning retail technology solutions company, announced today its company performance and growth year-over-year. Sparkfly’s 2023 second-quarter revenue surged an impressive 64 percent year-over-year from the second quarter of 2022, totaling a 121 percent increase in revenue since 2021. The company has also achieved a near-100 percent client retention rate since 2021, underscoring its commitment to customer success.
“At Sparkfly we are serious about our customer-centric culture and I am thrilled by the tremendous growth Sparkfly experienced these past two years, especially given the extremely challenging circumstances we have faced as an industry,” said Catherine Tabor, Founder and CEO of Sparkfly. “I am especially grateful for the continued trust and loyalty of our clients, which is a clear indication that our technology and our people are solving real business problems and driving revenue.”
Sparkfly welcomed six new enterprise customers in the first half of this year, totaling 26 new customers since the beginning of 2021, including leading national brands like Bojangles, Denny’s Corporation, Checkers & Rally’s and Round Table Pizza. The company also extended contracts with several long-standing customers, generating 38 percent organic growth among existing customers. Today, Sparkfly supports over 100 retail brands across more than 17,000 brick-and-mortar locations.
“At Sparkfly, we believe that constant innovation and strategic partnerships are essential to driving success in the rapidly-evolving retail technology industry,” said Jonathan Greenlee, VP of Sales and Marketing at Sparkfly. “By building integrations with many of the industry’s top technology providers––including Salesforce, Marigold, Plein Air, Oracle, Olo, Iterable, Vibes, Braze and Xenial, among others––we’ve been able to deliver highly-customizable customer engagement ecosystems that empower brands to connect with their guests in more meaningful ways.”
In addition to outstanding customer and partnership growth, Sparkfly has seen zero employee turnover and has increased its employee base by more than 200 percent since 2021. Sparkfly attributes its employee retention to its exceptional company culture, which prioritizes employee satisfaction, internal growth opportunities and professional development.
“Ultimately, our recent growth is a testament to the incredible dedication and talent of the team here at Sparkfly,” said Tabor. “I am humbled by the passion, hard work, and expertise our employees bring to their work every day, and I know that none of this would be possible without their unwavering support. I couldn’t be more proud of the team we have built here, and I look forward to continuing to work together to drive innovation and success for our clients.”
Atlanta Business Chronicle also recently recognized Sparkfly’s growth by naming the company to its prestigious 2023 Atlanta Pacesetter List, which honors the fastest-growing privately-held companies in Atlanta.
