Snowplow, the leader in customer data collection and analytics, today announced the launch of Snowplow Digital Analytics on Snowflake Marketplace. Snowplow Digital Analytics is an app native to the Snowflake Data Cloud that arms users with the analytics components to accelerate insights for marketing teams and minimize costly development cycles for data teams operating in the Snowflake Data Cloud.
The Snowflake Native App Framework (general availability soon on AWS, public preview soon on Azure) provides every organization with the necessary building blocks for app development, including distribution, operation, and monetization within Snowflake’s platform. Snowplow and Snowflake are working together to mobilize the world’s data with Snowflake’s Data Cloud, helping joint customers inform business decisions and drive innovation. Their joint solution empowers organizations to create a scalable data foundation for marketing and data teams to build Customer 360 use cases, such as customer acquisition, engagement, segmentation and retention. With just a few clicks in their Snowflake instance, customers cannot only realize value sooner, but also improve security and governance of their digital analytics workflows.
“Digital analytics is a core competency for all consumer brands. Optimizing customer insights and journeys through behavioral analytics is crucial to maintaining a competitive edge,” said Alex Dean, CEO and Co-founder of Snowplow. “We’re excited to replatform Snowplow Digital Analytics to the Data Cloud and seamlessly offer it through Snowflake Marketplace.”
Snowplow Digital Analytics enables customers real-time access to rich behavioral insights in the dashboards they are familiar with. For example, Digital Virgo, one of the world’s leading specialists in mobile telecom payments, reduced data latency by 90%, standardized reporting in over 40 countries, and eliminated data silos by integrating Snowplow with Snowflake. “Before Snowplow, we had Google Analytics 360 and our behavioral data was not available in real-time in our Snowflake instance or in our AWS infrastructure. Snowplow opens up a world of possibilities for us,” said Anthony Gianastasio, Head of Analytics at Digital Virgo.
In comparison to more traditional tools, Snowplow Digital Analytics offers a scalable solution to collect deeper behavioral insights into customer journeys. The depth and breadth of this solution is powered by:
- Granular first-party customer data sharing with Snowpipe Streaming directly to the Data Cloud;
- Simplified, out-of-the-box Unified Digital Model to aggregate journeys across web and mobile, and deterministically identify a single view of the customer in the Data Cloud;
- Greater governance and compliance controls to address limited customer views and data latency;
- Turnkey visualization templates in PowerBI, Tableau, Preset (Superset), or natively in Snowflake via Streamlit.
“Building an app native to Snowflake can be transformative for many businesses as they pursue innovation in Media & Adtech,” said Erin Foxworthy, Industry Principal, Agencies & Advertisers at Snowflake. “As Snowflake continues to make strides in mobilizing the world’s data, partners like Snowplow are integral in helping teams innovate and optimize first-party customer data in order to stay ahead of not just their competition, but also the increasingly challenging privacy landscape.”
