PRNEWS will unite hundreds of the communications industry’s leading professionals at the PR People Awards Luncheon on December 12 at the Georgetown Marriott in Washington, D.C. The awards luncheon will feature a ceremony unveiling the PR People award winners and honoring the Rising PR Stars. An important presentation will be delivered from Carrie Kerpen, CEO and co-founder of Likeable Media, a digital agency named Crain’s 6th Best Place to Work in New York City and also the author of “Work-It: Secrets for Success from the Boldest Women in Business.

The PR People Awards is a global competition that recognizes the top talent whose work is making an impact. The selected finalists represent the innovative, risk-taking and strategic communicators setting the benchmark of excellence in the communications field.

The Rising PR Stars is a category inside the PR People Awards, which honors young professionals 30 and under who have proven their success in different areas of public relations and continue to shine bright on their teams.

PRNEWS will also devote time during the ceremony to accept three game-changing industry leaders: Katina Arnold, Vice President of Corporate Communications as ESPN, Errol Cockfield, SVP of Communications at MSNBC and James Mahoney, Global Corporate Communications and Public Policy Executive at Bank of America. These individuals serve as sources of inspiration within and beyond the workplace and help to redefine and expand the roles communicators play.

Luncheon tickets, individual and team tables, are now available.
