Publishers Clearing House (PCH) Media, a leading provider of zero- and first-party data and identity solutions, today announced the appointment of Ed Leahy as Senior Director of Sales, North America. With over 10 years of leadership experience in data sales and marketing technology, Leahy is responsible for leading PCH Media’s direct sales team.
Leahy has a proven track record of creating deep relationships with brand marketers and agencies across North America and contributing to meaningful revenue growth by demonstrating the value of quality marketing data. Leahy will build share among marketers for PCH Media’s reliable, authenticated first-party data, helping partners accurately reach their core consumers and reduce campaign waste. Prior to this role, Leahy served as Vice President, North America at Lotame, an end-to-end data collaboration platform provider for digital marketers. Leahy reports directly to PCH Media’s Chief Revenue Officer, Tim Braz, and is based in the New York City office.
“Ed’s extensive background in data sales will be incredibly valuable in driving the next phase of PCH Media’s business growth, particularly now that Google has officially started to phase out third-party cookies,” said Braz. “Ed already leveraged his deep industry relationships to establish connections on behalf of PCH Media during LiveRamp’s RampUp conference in February, and we look forward to his future contributions to the team.”
PCH Media sponsored the 2024 RampUp After Dark event to create networking opportunities among marketing leaders and data/technology providers to foster conversations about the important role first-party data will play in a cookieless world. The conference focused on the central theme of data collaboration, exploring how marketing leaders can build a strong data foundation, best practices to activate industry collaborations, and what the future of data might look like.
“I truly believe that PCH Media will prove to be an invaluable partner in helping brands thrive in the cookieless world,” said Leahy. “For over 70 years, PCH has demonstrated the ability to be nimble and stay relevant in an ever-evolving industry, as exemplified by our powerful first-party data solutions. I’m excited to join a team that’s dedicated to supporting marketers as they navigate the uncharted landscape of third-party cookie deprecation.”
