NCC Media, the national television and video advertising sales, marketing and technology company owned by Comcast Corporation, Charter Communications, Inc. and Cox Communications, announced today it has named Noga Rosenthal as chief privacy officer and general counsel. A longtime board member of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI), Rosenthal brings deep expertise in the development and implementation of comprehensive privacy programs to the role where she will be responsible for guiding NCC’s privacy and legal initiatives. Rosenthal will report to Nicolle Pangis, president and CEO of NCC Media.
Rosenthal joins NCC from Epsilon where she served as chief privacy officer overseeing the company’s worldwide privacy, compliance and regulatory activities. Prior to Epsilon, Rosenthal was general counsel and VP for compliance and policy for the NAI, leading its compliance program and advising member companies on their digital advertising practices. Earlier she led global legal affairs for WPP’s Xaxis, a pioneering programmatic digital media business, as SVP and general counsel.
“Noga has played a central role in building a more responsible data practices framework for the global media industry and we are thrilled to welcome her to NCC,” said Nicolle Pangis, president and CEO of NCC Media. “She will be a key asset as we continue to expand the breadth of our data-driven addressable and linear television offerings.”
In addition to sitting on the Board of Directors of the NAI, Rosenthal is a member of the Advisory Board of the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Data Standards Committee of the Data and Marketing Association, and the Legal Affairs Council and the Public Policy Council of the Interactive Advertising Bureau. She serves as co-chair of the Privacy Committee of the Mobile Marketing Association and is a member of Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board of the International Association of Privacy Professional (IAPP). Rosenthal holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from Rutgers and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.
“NCC Media is revolutionizing the TV advertising space, helping to build a smarter, more attributable ecosystem that works better for consumers, brands and media owners,” said Rosenthal. “I look forward to working closely with Nicolle and the NCC team in delivering on our vision for a positive and useful advertising experience.”
