Moz, Inc., the leader in search engine optimization technology, today announces the addition of two board members, Asia Orangio and Tara Reed, joining previous members Sarah Bird, CEO of Moz, Michelle Goldberg, general partner at Ignition Partners and Brad Feld, managing director of Foundry Group. Both Orangio and Reed are CEOs and founders of their own companies, with robust experience in the technology, digital marketing and SaaS industry.
Orangio is CEO and Founder of DemandMaven, a SaaS mentor for both GrowthMentor and TinySeed, as well as an advisor of Atlanta Tech Village. Orangio has built a career out of defining go-to-market strategies, crafting data-driven approaches to growth and implementing winning marketing strategies.
Reed is the CEO of Apps Without Code, an online school teaching people how to build their own profitable apps, without any coding knowledge. She is a TEDx speaker and previously led marketing initiatives at Google, Foursquare and Microsoft.
“I’m a tremendous, longtime fan of both Asia and Tara. I’m very glad to see the board expanding with such superb talent,” said Rand Fishkin, founder of Moz and cofounder and CEO of Sparktoro, who will be stepping down from his board position. Fishkin was instrumental in using his seat as an opportunity to elevate other leaders who haven’t previously had the opportunity to participate on a board.
“Having worked alongside Rand for years, it’s impossible to measure the dedication he has shown to Moz. His service continues as he steps away and opens the door for Asia and Tara to join the board,” said Sarah Bird, CEO of Moz. “We selected Orangio and Reed knowing they are going to dive in and provide new depths of SaaS and digital marketing expertise, with diverse backgrounds and lives that will only fuel our next stage of our growth.
