The Bliss Group, a next-generation marketing communications firm, is pleased to announce that it has appointed a new senior leadership team to unlock growth and drive innovation for the agency, its clients, and its team members.
“We have some of the industry’s best and brightest right here under our own roof,” said Bob Pearson, CEO of The Bliss Group. “Since joining the firm, I’m struck by this team’s outstanding smarts and passion for creating data-driven value for clients, discovering agile media models, and exploring what’s next for our industry and those we serve.”
The Bliss Group’s senior leadership team, promoted entirely from within, includes practice group leads for the agency’s three industry verticals in health care, financial services, and business & professional services, as well as innovation team leads focused on developing crucial centers of excellence that drive innovation, growth, corporate affairs, and client service across the firm.
- Liz DeForest, SVP, was named Co-Leader of the Healthcare Practice
- Reed Handley, SVP, was named Head of Growth for the firm
- Greg Hassel, SVP, was named Co-Leader of the Financial Services Practice
- Julia Bloch Mellon, SVP, was named Co-Leader of the Financial Services Practice
- Alexis Odesser, SVP, was named Head of Account Excellence for the firm
- Sally Slater, SVP, was named Head of Innovation for the firm
- Keri Toomey, SVP, was named Leader of the Business & Professional Services Practice
- Megan Tuck, VP, was named Leader of Corporate Affairs for the firm
The Bliss Group’s evolution coincides with its new brand identity and website, which was revealed today after being developed within the hallways of the firm and in partnership with Victory CTO, a member firm of The Next Practice. The new visual identity leverages a playful “B” motif represented by a paintbrush-like swash of color. An intentionally unfinished stroke illustrates the blending of art and science inherent in how The Bliss Group unlocks value for clients as data, technology, and storytelling converge.
Today’s personnel and branding announcement succeeds The Bliss Group’s evolution earlier this year, in which Michael Roth and Cortney Rhoads-Stapleton were named Managing Partners of the firm.
“As we reflected on our reputation, our culture and the values that drive all of us, not only did we want our new brand to mirror our principles and core beliefs—that we are always a work in progress, discovering what’s next—but also we wanted to create career opportunities for the next generation of leaders at the firm,” continued Roth and Rhoads-Stapleton.
