FluentStream, the leading provider of enterprise-grade business phone services and communications software for small and medium-sized organizations, announced executive leadership changes. CEO Cass Gilmore has transitioned to chairman of the company, and Chief Operating Officer Kerrin Parker has been appointed as his successor.

Gilmore joined FluentStream as CEO in 2018, overhauling the company’s strategy to accelerate growth and transform FluentStream into a category leader. Under his leadership, FluentStream scaled from a regional player to one of the nation’s largest providers exclusively focused on the SMB community. The company has been recognized by Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America for seven consecutive years. In 2024, FluentStream achieved nearly 33% growth in new customers and double-digit growth in channel partners.

“Several years ago, we embraced a customer-first culture that focuses our research and development efforts, customer service initiatives, and business objectives to ensure we align with customer needs,” said Gilmore. “We have stayed true to our mission by consistently delivering the services and support our customers need to succeed in an increasingly competitive environment. I am incredibly proud of the FluentStream team and look forward to ongoing growth and success under Kerrin’s leadership.”

Before joining FluentStream in 2022, Parker was the CEO of magicJack for Business, where she successfully repositioned the brand to serve the SMB market. Parker also led Broadsmart as CEO, implementing a profitable restructuring that culminated in the company’s acquisition by Ooma. As ShoreTel’s Managing Director of Cloud Services and M5 Networks’ Executive Vice President of Operations and Customer Success, Parker focused on enhancing the customer experience and driving organizational growth.

“Cass’s leadership has resulted in unparalleled customer service, a competitive UCaaS platform that meets the needs of the SMB community, and a company culture that allows employees to thrive,” said Parker. “I intend to extend and expand these pillars that have come to define us as an organization and look forward to continuing our momentum of growth and innovation.”

In 2025, FluentStream plans to expand its UCaaS capabilities and distribution to give SMBs access to the enterprise-grade communication services they need to continue to drive business improvements.
