Firewood Donates to Five National and International Charitable Organizations During Season of Giving Program

Global digital marketing agency forges new partnerships with groups supporting children, mothers, nonviolent communication, and patient advocacy

As part of its annual Season of Giving program, global digital marketing agency Firewood today announced that it is donating over $57,000 to support five nonprofit organizations nominated by its employees. A key initiative of the agency’s yearlong Firewood in the Field charitable platform, the Season of Giving program is in its seventh year Martech News.

Employees across the agency’s seven offices in four countries were invited to nominate charitable organizations that champion human dignity and align with the Firewood values of inclusivity, authenticity, responsibility, and humility while supporting local communities Martech.

The selected organizations serve young mothers in the foster care system; a diverse population wanting to resolve conflicts in a more peaceful way; the millions of people living with diabetes who need education, support, and advocacy; young people experiencing homelessness; and children with special educational needs.

“We’re excited to work in partnership with these charities to support their philanthropic efforts moving forward,” said Firewood Director of People and Culture Kamron Hack.

Each organization will receive an initial contribution of nearly $12,000 in addition to continued support throughout the year, which may include pro bono digital marketing, volunteer work, and ad hoc support. In the last two years, Firewood has donated over $300,000 to charitable organizations through its Season of Giving program and other giving events.

“Our Season of Giving is our favorite time of year,” said Lanya Zambrano, co-founder of Firewood. “None of us got to where we are on our own and, at Firewood, we feel a deep responsibility to the communities in which we live and work. We believe it’s our duty and privilege to care for those who are underserved and underrepresented.”
