Today Domo (Nasdaq: DOMO) announced that it is the top-ranked vendor in the Dresner Advisory Services’ 2024 Self-Service Business Intelligence (BI) Market Study for the sixth consecutive year.

In its 9th edition, this Dresner market study examined end-user deployments and trends around self-service BI. Top vendors in this market were ranked on their self-service BI, collaborative, governance, framework integration, natural language analytics, generative AI and guided analytics features. Placing ahead of 16 other vendors, the Domo platform empowers teams with the self-service access and analytics they need, easing the burden on data teams while also maintaining proper governance and control.

“Self-service BI remains an important topic for organizations seeking to better leverage both information resources and scarce human experts to drive improved group-based decision making in a governed fashion. With the growing leverage of artificial intelligence and generative AI, self-service BI has garnered renewed interest, with the promise of making BI more accessible to a larger community of users,” said Howard Dresner, founder and chief research officer at Dresner Advisory Services. “Congratulations to Domo on its top ranking for the sixth consecutive time in our 9th annual self-service BI market assessment.”

“Domo is the first platform to unify IT’s need for security and governance with business users’ need for speed, visibility and action. This allows Domo customers the ability to create data solutions that serve their own unique business needs and multiply their impact on the business,” said Ben Schein, SVP of Product, Domo. “Domo’s continued recognition by Dresner for our innovation and leadership further validates our ability to drive valuable business results with data-driven decisions.”
