CommerceNext today announced that nominations are now open for its 2023 CommerceNexty Awards, which celebrate excellence in ecommerce and digital marketing. The awards will be judged by CommerceNext’s Advisory Board, a group of over 50 ecommerce and retail leaders, and will include two honorary awards for a Marketing Visionary and Digital Disruptor. Winners will be announced at the 2023 CommerceNext Ecommerce Growth Show, which will take place June 20-21 in New York City. The invite-only conference provides leaders from retail and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands with a collaborative, communal space to discuss best practices and strategies for marketing and ecommerce growth.

“The CommerceNexty Awards highlight the people and companies behind the year’s best campaigns and innovative solutions to elevating brand stories and cultivating long-term relationships with consumers,” said CommerceNext Co-Founder Veronika Sonsev. “Executives from the retail and ecommerce space can recognize one to two people who are driving truly significant results by nominating their accomplishments.”

Last year’s CommerceNexty honorees included E.L.F. BEAUTY, Bombas, Old Navy, TULA Skincare, Made In Cookware, Warby Parker, Gainful, and American Eagle Outfitters. The peer-reviewed awards identify and celebrate the best marketing and ecommerce achievements among retail and ecommerce professionals.

Nominations are now open for the categories below. Marketing and ecommerce executives who would like to nominate themselves, a client or a colleague can do so by completing the nomination form by April 14, 2023.

This year’s award categories are:

  1. Marketing Innovator of the Year
  2. Most Impactful Social Responsibility Campaign
  3. Best Use of Data or Technology in Marketing
  4. Most Effective Brand Storytelling
  5. Outstanding New Ecommerce Experience
  6. Best Use of a New Channel
  7. Women in Retail’s Top Woman of the Year Award (an award created in partnership with the Women in Retail Leadership Circle)

The category finalists will be selected on May 3rd and voting on the finalists will take place from May 3-23rd. Winners will be selected based on a combination of votes, with a popular vote contributing 50% of the overall score and votes from CommerceNext’s board of judges contributing the other 50%.
