Today Clevertouch Marketing, Europe’s leading marketing technology (martech) consulting and service provider, has announced changes to its senior team.
Stuart West will join as Vice President of Sales to lead the new business function and team across Clevertouch services and SaaS products. Stuart brings with him extensive experience in the B2B sector, including various UK, US and APAC roles. With over 11 years as a senior Sales and New Business leader, Stuart has most recently held regional MD posts at BrightTALK (acquired by TechTarget).
At the same time, Nick Burrell, co-founder and existing CFO, will step down from a day-to-day executive director role where he currently leads the finance, HR and office functions. Nick remains as a director, attending regular board meetings. A search for a new CFO is underway.
Adam Sharp, CEO at Clevertouch Marketing, commented: “When Nick and I started Clevertouch in 2009, we had ambitious plans to build a company that would specialise in helping marketers ‘make sense of martech’. Our mission has proved successful in many ways, including our Martech Spine©, which has been adopted by so many global organisations as the cornerstone of their martech strategy.
“As we look to build further growth, I’m delighted to welcome Stuart to the senior team and look forward to the impact he will bring to our sales and growth capabilities. In stepping down as CFO later this month, Nick has not left but will remain a much-valued member of the board and advocate for Clevertouch.”
Stuart West, Vice President of Sales at Clevertouch, commented: “The Clevertouch team already supports blue-chip, large corporate and enterprise clients, delivering significant business outcomes across consultancy services, project implementation, organisational change management, business-as-usual campaigns as well as martech implementations and migrations. It also develops in-house and provides simplification software, Momentum, and event management software, Eventum, to clients. I’m looking forward to leading our new business efforts, expanding into new markets and working with the rest of the team to add to the top names in the client roster, including Xactly, British Land, Fujitsu, Legal & General and Aveva.”
