Mundial Media Raises $1.5 Million Pre-seed funding

Mundial Media, a leading contextual marketing platform with a focus on multicultural audiences, today announced it has raised $1.5 million in a pre-seed extension round supported by both existing and new investors, including family offices and venture firms specializing in marketing automation.

This funding will support further product innovation, talent acquisition, and the expansion of Mundial Media’s core digital advertising products, solidifying its position as a comprehensive platform for multicultural digital advertising.

Fueled by Cadmus AI’s data capabilities, Mundial Media is enhancing its contextual advertising strategy, focusing on data-driven insights to guide its custom content studio, in-depth research and insights platform, and development of new advertising products.

“With this funding, Mundial Media is equipped to lead the next wave of contextual technology innovation,” said Tony Gonzalez, CEO and Co-Founder of Mundial Media. “Our goal is to continually advance Cadmus AI, providing clients with the technology to deliver meaningful, culturally relevant messages at scale. This investment allows us to further our mission, refining our capabilities in contextual advertising and enhancing the ways brands connect with multicultural audiences.”

Mundial Media’s Cadmus AI, the first hyper-contextual engine specifically designed for multicultural audiences, is a privacy-first solution that does not rely on third-party cookies. Cadmus AI leverages first-party data and artificial intelligence (AI) to place advertisements relevant to specific groups including Hispanics, Blacks, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI), and LGBTQ+ audiences. Cadmus AI reaches over 30 million active monthly multicultural users and analyzes over 1 billion+ real-time contextual data points to plan, execute, and measure media campaigns.

“Supporting Mundial Media’s expansion aligns with our commitment to investing in advanced marketing technology solutions,” said Gerard Goetz, Managing Partner at New Day and a repeat investor. “Its sophisticated approach to contextual technology uniquely positions them to drive genuine connections between brands and audiences. We’re excited to support their vision as they continue to innovate and lead in the multicultural advertising space.”

Since its founding in 2022, Mundial Media has scaled rapidly, becoming a trusted partner for brands seeking to engage the $3.7 trillion U.S. Latino economy and other multicultural markets.
