Marketing Firm Sappington Adds Emily Kohler to Design Team

Sappington, a leading technology marketing firm with headquarters in Seattle, WA, today announced the appointment of Emily Kohler as Designer. In her new role, Kohler will translate technologies into beautiful, visual storytelling, collaborating with content strategists and writers to achieve brand consistency and marketing objectives for Sappington clients.

Kohler is a versatile, award-winning graphic designer with experience serving global clients in a wide range of industry verticals. She has a proven track record of creative problem-solving in branding, B2B email marketing, environmental graphics, and presentation and website design.

Kohler was the principal of her own design studio, working in print, digital, and multimedia with regional and national clients on projects pertaining to security, software, and other current business concerns.

She was Senior Graphic Designer for MG2, a global architecture design, construction, and branding studio, where she collaborated with architectural and interior design teams on environmental graphic design, branding, and presentation packages. Her work was recognized with multiple Best of Show and First Place awards by the Zweig Group Marketing Excellence Awards and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Seattle Reign Awards.

She has additional experience in design roles with a supplier of imprintable apparel and accessories, a large-scale automotive distributor, and a leading North American producer of flexible packaging.

Kohler trained at the Art Institute of Seattle and received a degree with honors. She also participated in the Web Design program at Seattle Central College. A Montana native, she enjoys being outdoors, running, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two children.
