CEO Valerie Jennings Named National Marketer of Year by DMN

Jennings Social Media & MarTech (JSMM) is proud to announce that Valerie Jennings, CEO, has been awarded the national honor of Marketer of the Year by DMN.

The DMN Awards have honored some of the biggest names in the agency and marketing technology worlds, recognizing exemplary and innovative use of data, strategy and technology in pursuit of marketing excellence martech news.

Jennings embodies the definition of an outstanding marketer through her future-forward vision, leadership and passion for the digital marketing agency that she founded 16 years ago, at the age of 24. As a social media early adopter, Jennings forecasted trends ahead of the curve, including embracing social media as far back as 2005. By introducing a new leadership vision and implementing performance-based AI and MarTech-focused strategies to automate and innovate content marketing, SEO and digital advertising, Jennings has transformed the way digital marketing is approached in an agency setting.

Jennings recently obtained a certification in artificial intelligence and she was also selected to moderate a panel on running a marketing agency at the 2020 Midwest Digital Marketing Conference in St. Louis April 8-10.

In 2018, Jennings was honored by DMN as a Top 40 Under 40 digital marketing leader and was named a Top 50 Kansas City Influencer by BloggerLocal. Additional recognitions include Kansas City’s Most Wanted Honoree 2015 and Most Influential Woman in Business, Class of 2014. Jennings has been interviewed about her success by national media and featured on magazine covers. JSMM has also successfully met the requirements of the NWBOC National Certification Program for certification as a woman-owned and woman-controlled business as of 2018.
